Chamber Announces Fall 2020 Trip to Vietnam
McHenry, MD – The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce has announced Vietnam as the destination for a Fall 2020 Chamber Trip. The Chamber will be partnering with travel agency Citslinc International, Inc. to present this tour.
Travelers are invited to tour Vietnam’s capital of Hanoi and see the Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, dating back to the 11th century. Travelers will take an overnight cruise on the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay and make a brief jaunt to Soi Sim Island for a refreshing swim before boating past Thieh Cung and Dau Go Caves, and Fighting Cock Islet.

- My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre Site
- Thu Bon River boat trip
- Duy Hai and Tra Nhieu fishing villages
- Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre Site
- 4 mythical islets of the Dragon, Unicorn, and Paradise in the Mekong Delta

The trip is scheduled for November 1-10, 2020 and discounted Chamber member pricing starts at $2,399 per person based on a double occupancy. The trip is open to the public but non-members pay an extra $200 per person. Shuttle service to and from Dulles International Airport, Round Trip International airfare and Vietnamese domestic airfare and tax, 4- and 5-star accommodations, 3 daily meals, deluxe bus tours, and entrance fees to attractions are included in pricing. A non-refundable registration fee of $300 per person (included in total tour fare) is due with registration and the balance of the trip will be due on or before ticketing day, July 15, 2020. A valid passport and visa are required for this trip. Previously the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Citslinc International, LLC to present trips to China in 2013 and again in 2018.
The Chamber will be hosting an informative meeting on Tuesday, March 10 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the Conference Room at the Visitors Center. The event is open to the public and light refreshments will be provided.
